A funny thing happened on the way to lunch...
I was driving to pick a friend up for lunch today and saw four co-workers (three of which work for me) walking up a hill to their lunch destination on a sidewalk next to my lane and with their backs to me...

We joke around a lot, soooooo, as I get next to them, I pop it down to 2nd, give it a littttttttlllllllleeeee gas, and BAMMMMM! enjoyed the view in the rear view mirror as they nearly wet their pants.
I know...lord forgive me and bless the little pygmies in New Guinea!
Yep, later I was apologizing to the guy closest to the curb...his response was:

- "I felt the airblast push my pant leg up" [wow, I was about 8 ft away]
And
- "I had no idea Jaguar was such a bad boy!" He drives an Audi...
I guess next time I'll avoid doing that right next to the Criminal Justice CenterAnd

Lol, good stuff
I was in a parking lot during lunch and drive by a few guys in my vert. One of them tells the other "I love that engine growl"
I raised my hand to acknowledge him. He wasn't talking to me, but I have a weird personality when I drive in dynamic mode...

I was eating a late lunch today, restaurant was nearly empty. As I am eating my food, looking for my waitress, I happen to glance outside and see the bartender, hostess and my waitress gathered around my car. I think the cook and bus boy were the only people left in the place...
I took my car by my mechanic's today. He's the guy who worked on my 996 turbo for 10 yrs. Let him drive it on a little runabout. He got out with a big smile saying "yeah, great choice, awesome car, amazing exhaust note." Not surprised to nice to hear from an officionado.
I was filling up at the local BP. A younger guy, driving a Toyota sedan, pulled in on the opposite side of my pump. I only have a few hundred miles on this '22 F-Type so I am simply staring at this beautiful car as the gas pumps, but out of the corner of my eye I can see him lean around the pump and then lean back and then lean around the pump. A few bouts of this and he finally says "I like your car too man...it's cool!" LOL.
One thing that is consistent when you drive a Jaguar, any Jag, in fact, is the positive attention they get. My favourite experience is one I have remembered verbatim. Filling the tank of my BRG F-Type coupe one day, I note a woman on the other side of the pump island getting out of a new BMW SUV.
A minute later she says "That's a really beautiful car. What is it?" "Thank you. It's a Jaguar F-Type". "Oh....I've always loved the look of Jaguars but (this is the verbatim bit) I've heard that they break down in the middle of nowhere for no reason at all".
I couldn't help it: My riposte: "That is a myth perpetuated by BMW owners". Strangely, that was the end of our exchange.
