Default Gas pump click before filling up

Hi all.
While at the gas station, the pump clicked off multiple times before the gas tank was full. I'm not talking about maybe a half gallon from being full - but stopping at half tank full. I regularly use the gas station and have not experienced such issues before. I have yet to give it another try (maybe at a different gas station) as the tank is currently full, but will see if it happens again. In the meantime, any of you experience something similar?

its just a normal thing, i think there was a recall to fix that, you can search the forum for the bullatin and bring it up at your dealer, i've personally haven't fixed it and just pull up the pump up to the top and it barely does it like that

They normally have you replace the filler neck for this issue.

I had the filler neck replaced, but I still run into the issue very occasionally. .

I've had the filler neck replacement done and haven't had an issue since. You should be able to get it to fill without stopping prematurely if you hold the handle upside-down but I figured it was better to just have the part replaced while I could, rather than try to deal with it down the line.

Varies from pump to pump, in my experience. Our F is relatively easy, but on a new station we went to recently, the pumps kept shutting off...a right-royal PAIN.
