Default Gold exhaust tips

Hello everyone, I am a new owner of a 2016 f type r that I will be wrapping in February true blood red, I will be making the r logo on the grille hold as well as the brake calipers and was wondering how would I go about getting the exhaust tips gold? I see they are welded on and don't just come off

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Almost everyone just does black and red I didn't feel like a few hints of gold would look tht bad lol. There's a bunch of red cars out there with it and by gold I don't mean a bright chrome gold more towards tht dull bronze look

Actually, almost no one alters the already gorgeous appearance of the F-Type (or any other Jaguar) - and for good reason. Alterations most often cheapen the look of these cars. To elaborate further on the reason(s) might leave one open to being accused of not being PC. It is a matter not only of taste, but of good taste (which, admittedly, is subjective).

Wow. Style is personal. If someone likes gold accents, that's his business. It doesn't make it wrong.

I know there is a thread around here somewhere about changing the color on the tips. I'll see if I can find it.

Heat and the acidic exhaust moisture are things that should be considered for any coating.

I didn't find anything off hand. I know some of the Bimmer guys used high heat paint to black out their exhausts. If you're going for a matte gold color, the same thing should work.

Okay so high heat paint

And I found a forum where a guy had them cut off and ceramic coated black will that work? Or will it eventually chip off

There's a whole R exhaust for sale for $400 here:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/market/207666

Might be worth it to buy it, have the tips coated, install it and then sell yours.
