Default Good car charger/power supply for US market

So in the UK people recommend the "Telwin Doctor Charge 50" for DIY enthusiast and SDD/ECU tuning and tweaking. can someone please recommend an equivalent unit for the 110v customers in the USA?

Thank you

I'm using the Noco Genius 10 on the Jag, I've used Battery Tender Jr. for 20 years on my off-road toys, and Noco Genius 2 on a sled for the past year.

Many of the forum members use CTEK. They also make the OEM version for Jaguar, Porsche, and others.

I think the OP is looking for a full fat charger, not a battery maintainer. The Telwin is a hefty bit of kit, with a hefty price tag.

I bought a CTEK Multi US 25000 charger/supply. It can supply up to 25 amps as a power supply. I put an ammeter between the power supply and battery terminals when flashing my car it never drew more than 15 amps. I always started with a fully charged battery though. I don't think the model I have is still available but they have a better one for about the same cost in the Pro line now :

Some can even charge lithium batteries as well as lead acid types. The MXS 25EC is closest to what I have now but I would get the PRO 25S now.

That’s a good one, I like that it specifies “
  • SUPPLY mode to support the battery during diagnostic or fault-finding work” but want it with more power. I’d like the recommended 50w

This is the best I’ve found thus far
