I have not been able to discern any difference in sound in any driving mode, nor have I been able to discern any variation in volume using the audio volume control knob which is advertised to allow adjustment.
My 2018 base model did not come with the symposer but my 2022 base model came standard with NGPTSQ though I would not have known had I not seen the entry on the Order Detail sheet.
BTW I loved my 2018 but haven't reached the break-in miles to know if I'll love the V-8 even more.

My opinions of the symposer are on record. Search for the thread on "symposer defeat" that I started. It's really easy to defeat but not so easy to remove, although that is on my list. One of the comments in that video mentions that the vacuum line does something else besides just sympose, but mostly it's access to the parts that has held me back. I've got other projects that rank much higher, e.g. P7 grille.
