Never having been in a coupe, I was struck by how loud the exhaust is. In the V8 vert with the top and windows up, the sound is quite muted.

Recordings are often nothing like what the human ear hears in the real world. Among the many variables, it all depends up where they placed the microphone during the video shoot.

My perception is that the convertible is louder, all things being equal, and way louder with the top down. Now, a coupe with the windows down may be louder than a convertible with the top up and windows closed. I did a number of side-by-side comparisons to derive those observations.

Interesting how the euro plates that are bigger don't seem to look as bad as the smaller USA plate.

Thanks, this gave me a chuckle. My drive to work features the same happy noises and giggles, without the attempt at commentary.

My F-type S isn't this loud. Also, what is with dirty exhaust tips?! Polish that chrome!

I love the euro plates. Wish we had them here in the US. But rears only.

Definitely just in the back. Any of you with white cars use a white license plate frame. Thinking of getting a special NY plate that state offers in white/blue rather than yellow blue. OCD is kicking in.
