Green Coolant
Hello everyone,
So today I went to check my coolant level to find out it was green in color. I see on many threads it requires orange coolant wss M97B44. I have only had the car for about 2 months and driven 300 plus miles. I also had an indy check out the car a few weeks ago and there were no leaks etc. Should I have the coolant flushed to the correct color or is this not of any concern?
Thanks in advance!

Yes the green is wrong. The car uses Dex-Cool and that's what I would put back in.
Now I hope who ever made the bad decision to swap to green did a THROUGH flush otherwise your going to find gelled up coolant!
But it's your car so you decide.

Pentosin Pentofrost SF is an approved coolant. I would do as clubairth1 suggests above and replace the green coolant pronto. And probably flush the system first. I found some of the Pentosin Pentofrost SF locally at O'Reilly Auto Parts but it can be ordered online from several sources. If you go to a place like O'Reilly's they often put it on the shelf with 1 quart oil bottles since it doesn't come in a conventional gallon jug..
It seems expensive for a 1.5 liter bottle but it needs to be diluted 50/50 with distilled water. Here's one source:
