I just received my 2016 R with OEM wheels and I already dropped it off for Xpel, tint and decided to ceramic coat the car. The ceramic coating of the wheels and rims also includes painting them gloss black. I am not sure I want them painted. I like the look of them as is and not sure what they would look like black on the storm grey. I had black rims on other cars and it was fine but not sure I want these painted black. Input or pics of a grey with black wheels?

 

 

Thank you and appreciate the pic. I searched and found some close but this was a great help. Come to find out the shop used an old form from a previous customer and didn't realize they left paint the wheels gloss black. It was $500 for ceramic coating the wheels and calipers and didn't include painting the wheels. Seemed very cheap if it included painting and not sure I wanted them painted. I just got the car and haven't had a chance to let the car "sink in."

I love the Storm Grey! I have Corris Grey, and just had my side skirts painted Black, and wheels powder coated Black!
