Ok thanks, I do want to lower it. Try 15mm spacer first. You are not getting any rubbing??

Not at all, even at maximum cornering.

Spacers that fit any modern Jag (XF, XJ, XK) also fit the the F-Type, as they all have the same PCD and centre bore. Like many Jag accessories and add-ons, it's often cheaper to get something that is supposedly for another model than pay a premium for the so-called F-Type version.

Got it thanks for the info. So after reading the thread my assumption is 17mm is the desired Spacer for all 4 sides. Has anyone done 15mm

Just give them a call. They have made both the 15mm and the 17mm size for the F-Type.

I have the 15mm spacers from the first batch that was made. The reason folks subsequently chose to ask for the 17mm spacers is that it reduces the amount (or eliminates the need ) of wheel stud grinding. With 15mm spacers and a Gyrodyne wheelset, I had to grind 3mm off the end of the wheel studs. Really a non-issue, since the thread doesn't even begin for the first 6-7mm of stud. With the 17mm spacers, folks had no grinding or about 1mm to grind depending on which wheels they had.

I am unclear if the 17mm actually cover the studs because the spacer is now deeper than them or, is it a case of the wheels having inserts that can now accommodate the stud length remaining past the thicker spacer. I ask as I am looking to buy four 245/40 Savini wheels for winter needing rear spacers and they have no inset to accommodate any length of stud. Thanks for any thoughts

you will need additional insets on the wheel to accommodate the studs.

Finally installed these. Makes a big difference in the look. I did not like walking up to my car and the wheel sitting so far in. The first is before and the last two are afterwards

Can you take a side shot. Id like to see the wheel gap with the fender. Unless you lowered it. Thanks

Anyone lower their car with the 17mm spacers yet? Any issues with rubbing?

I lowered mine 1.5" with 15mm spacers. No problem with 295 tires, but 305 tires rub under compression. Ride height should not affect rubbing, as the car will have the same ride height when springs are fully compressed whether lowered or not.

No lowering done. The rims are 21x10.5, 45mm offset, with 295/25/21 tires in the rear.

Well as you and I have identical colour schemes this is helpful thanks. I've had my 17mm spacers from is buy for a few months and have just not gotten around to putting them on because I need to spend the time grinding down the studs. In the interim I've been debating how I would like the new look. Now I know...it's pretty good!
