Theoretically, a wider stance improves cornering grip, but I doubt it's enough of a difference to be noticeable. You'd get more bang for you buck by lowering the car for track performance.

Honestly, like Foosh said I mean it wont be like you'll shave seconds off your lap time, but yes theoretically a wider stance will mean better tracking and confidence. When looking at our cars and paying attention to where our wheels fall within the fender wells, we feel that this issue is far more than just aesthetics.

Jaguar unfortunately misses the mark as it relates to it's oem wheel offsets.
