Velocity AP for a 0.9" drop, H&R for a 1.25-1.5" drop. I went with H&R and am very happy with it. Others have done VAP and are also quite happy.

That is the right part number for the R. Do not order straight from H&R. You can get the set at least $200 cheaper from other resources including AutoAnything: H&R Sport Lowering Coil Springs - SHIPS FREE

Ignore their write-up, it is massively flawed. Just confirm the right H&R part number.

I'll have to think on this long and hard. My lower lip is already taking a beating going over speed bumps and driveways as she sits now. I couldn't even imagine what the scrape factor would be like after dropping another 1.5". Also entry into the vehicle is also a PIA as it is for this 52 year olds creaky bones after three sets of tennis.

I love the look but would hate to regret it. I'll do the adapters first and see if anything about the look bothers me. JUST SOLD MY PAIR OF WARRIORS TICKETS FOR GAME 7 so I think the $ is just burring a hole now. I'll take a breath on this one although I dig the drop. GO DUBS!!! The biggest sporting event in Bay Area history tonight.

The trick with speed bumps is to accelerate as you go over them. Take driveways at an angle. And, at 63, getting in and out of my car is healthy exercise.

Depends on where you live.. I have places in my area that going over speed bumps even at an angle will still scrape the bottom of a low car. Now, I wouldn't lower my F-Type as low as I had my old RX-7:

http://mahjik.homestead.com/files/FD...eka-1153-2.jpg

Hard to tell in the photo, but it was almost too low for low profile jacks. The few times I took it to work, I had issues with scraping everywhere. I'd like to lower the F-Type a little but I am concern about it scraping since the nose is so long (between, the front and the tire). Our curbs here are pretty brutal and it's already a challenge getting in and out of my driveway.

Count me in for a set. Wanted to lower first, but do not want to pass this up. Thanks for putting this together.

Default Don't forget the other advantage of adapters never mentioned

We need only two more guys to move forward with this group buy. Don't miss out at this wholesale price. We are getting $50 off for the set and they are very close to selling to us for the previous GB price with 40 buyers! Those of us that missed the previous buy are very lucky to be basically being provided an "extension" to the previous buy. The caveat is that we need at least ten buyers. We have eight as we speak.

Don't forget, for those that want to change their wheels. You can get any new bolt pattern changed to what you desire. This opens the wheel world up to any style or brand your heart desires! If you see a BMW wheel that you've always loved...Done. Perhaps you have a set of wheels you love laying around but they are not for Jag. This solves that issue. Just let us know the BP and offset of those wheels and viola, they now fit. Again, just make sure you pay attention to the width, BP, and offset of the new wheel so they can build the adapter to spec for that particular wheel.

Pete, Unhingd is THE man to ask for opinions and advice when it comes to all sorts of tweaking and, having seen his car for myself, can state for the record it looks fantastic and definately sits far more "aggressive" (even if Unhingd himself is a peace-loving, cigar-smoking, gentleman of the first order). As we discussed, lowering it will make it a bit more of a drop for your "creaky bones after three sets of tennis" but that's never been an issue for me (not sure how much you'll be bothered by the the added drop, but it shouldn't be that much more cumbersome or uncomfortable).

If you're going this route - keeping your coupe and using the spacers - and especially since you don't have winter to contend with, I would probably recommend lowering your car as well. IMO. If I didn't drive my car round-year, including Maine winters, I'd certainly do both.

Yes he is and I've listened to him like a dad since I've been here. The other issue is my lower valance is already taking a royal beating. We've got driveways, speed bumps, pot holes, and anything else you can imagine to beat the hell out of the underside of my car. To drop another 1.5" may actually break off something. I've had my car less than a month and I would say I've bottomed out at least 6-7 times. What I'll do is widen the track first and take it from there. If I can't live with the height, I'll just lower her and cross my fingers. This is also the reason I decided to pass on the 21" wheels.

OK we got...

Polaris
xdave
Dremorg
Jaronstoys
ss23
Grumpy Finn
JgaXkr
Dwelter
JF1
Mbourne

Thanks guys.

I'll call in the morning and post up the phone number and contact and pre-shipped price. You guys can just fulfill your own order by just mentioning "Jag group buy" and adding your particular shipping charges.

If at all possible, please pay by tomorrow in case he holds off beginning production until we all pay. After you place the order, please post that you're finished so we can keep track as to who's yet to pay so we can get them made without delay. I will instruct them to ship adapters in the order paid. I was told a 72 hour build time and a day for shipping so we should have them soon!

Be sure to take and post b4 and after pics if you'd like to share.

Ahh, this is a good time for me to order some black lug nuts for my Tornados which for some reason came with silver.

Thanks again, gentleman!
