does anyone have more detailed information on this? Does this affect the MY 2017, or could it already be installed at the factory?

From my reading it effects only the start up "roar" in Dynamic mode and it is a "recall" so not something that would have been already on a MY 2017, although it does appear to be part of the OEM tune for MY 2020 and 2021.
