Default Updated 2017 F-Type Firmware

Does anywhere here know how to update the firmware for their Infotainment system? My car has an older version but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to update the firmware on it.

Other than a map update, any update would have to be installed by the dealer. And I don't there's been much in the way of updates for the infotainment system.

These are not designed for the individual to perform such an update. It takes a while and requires Jaguar Dealer tools to perform as well as a specific process of how to remove the current code. Even though dealers have been trained there are reports of the tech's failing to perform the upgrades (read the F-Pace forum for such details).

What makes you believe a firmware update is necessary?
