Handling in winter/cold weather?

Handling in winter/cold weather?
As the title says, what are your experiences of driving this bad boy in winter conditions? To further this, I just ordered new Continental ExtremeContact DWS 6 Plus tires in preparation for the summer and autumn months, but I was wondering if I'd need an entirely separate set of winter tires to continue driving year-round.
As a life-long Massachusetts resident, I'd really hate to leave my beloved state just to have the peace of mind knowing my F-Type will be safe the these mean, pockmarked streets!

I believe he has been using the Continentals for a few years with success.

I have the continental all seasons on my SVR and they feel great and planted in the rain, cold etc. here in MA
AWD model of course. I don't drive it through the winter in the salt and snow etc
But - I do drive my RWD XF V8 SC year round in MA incl in heavy snow and ice. I use winter tires for that of course. But the F type with all seasons has much better traction than XF with winters, so think you will find it's great in the winter
Now avoiding snow, ice, potholes and other winter muck - that's another story...

In all seriousness, though, my research has led me to believe that the AWD, with the Conties, can power through most types of snow and ice.

Drove the dws06plus all winter with some snow (maybe up to 2" on the road max for the car (total was 10" but they plow quickly and well here).
No issues. Physics still applies but you can move around just fine. In the cold they were like driving summer tires in the summer. In the summer they are like driving summer tires in the summer. Whatever they've concocted, they nailed it. Had Michelin AS3+ and the conti's kill those in snow and wet..the conti is much better and way less noisy and actually holds it color better (stays black, the michelins turn weird brown grey and look old fast). The Michelines at 7mm (only 2mm of use) were super noisy already....sort of in very obnoxious humming way. The conti's are quiet.

We also put winter tyres on the Land Rover (Nokian Hakka) and the difference between those and the all seasons in bad winter weather is quite remarkable
At the end of the day AWD plus good winter tyres is as good as you can get. It's still a sports car with a lot of power so you need to be careful (ie don't floor it!). But I've found it to be great
I also use the snow / winter mode in bad weather. It makes accelerator and gear change a bit more relaxed / less edgy. Which can help too
