Guess the rest of you will need to start parking next to highly reflective windows and snapping some photos for us.

The ultimate selfie. If one was so inclined.

Does this count? It's a funny-looking Ferrari-Type...

Seriously, I though Salsa Red was pretty close to Ferrari red, but clearly the 458 is more orange.

You've out Ferrari'd a Ferrari. That doesn't look like "real" Ferrari Red if you ask me. But since you didn't. By the way, none of these pictures - any pictures I've seen - simply don't do proper justice to the actual color of any cars, F-Type's included. Seeing - in person - is believing.

Agreed, though the iPhone is particularly poor at colors like these. My Nikon does a credible job, but then you need a good monitor too. And good eyes...

Count me in as well.

Yes definitely. He pulled up and got out and I said nice car, and he said nice car!

And then we had a chat.

I saw one in Plano going South on Preston Road and I saw a Salsa red at the Willow bend mall last week.

While not an F-type owner (yet), but a two XKR owner, I'm in for a So Cal run anytime. And I've seen quite a few "in the wild" F-types around the streets of Los Angeles, including a fly yellow one on several occasions.

To date, I've still only seen 5 in the wild (including mine). Thought I saw one from the rear in a dark parking garage today and drove the long way around to get up close. Just a Viper.

Two of my favorite cars, my F-type and the car I dreamed about when I was 16 years old

Finally after three months of ownership I crossed paths with another F Type. The silver base crossed in front of me in a parking lot as I was about to leave. I circled around and parked next to him only to catch an annoyed look that quickly changed to a big smile when he realized what I was driving. We ended up talking about our cars for quite some time. We also received a number of drive bys and walk overs with positive comments about the parked pair. Hope to meet some other NJ and PA owners at some point.
