Seems like every weekend I go out now I'm parking next to another F-Type. So I started to take pics. Maybe others can keep this going with their "in the wild" encounters.

Wow... I have yet to see another F-Type outside a showroom in this area. Heck, the only Jags I see in general are GT cars and Saloons, and those are fairly few and far between. The SF area is dominated by BMW's though, and Porsche's are not too rare.

I see the same three cars at least twice a week each in my neighborhood, a black R coupe, an IRR V8S cab, and a blue V6 coupe.

I also have the Jaguar dealership around the corner from me, so I see people on test drives a lot too.

Just saw a black V6S coupe pull up to the light as I was riding my bike to work this morning as well.

One of these days I'm hoping to randomly park next to a forum member. Chances are it will be you BierNut since I'm in Venice.

Love how those parking spaces are nice and wide! Half the time I don't drive around SF because the parking is so tight it's not worth risking a door dent.

This thread will be dominated by you Californians, I imagine you will post more photos than everyone else combined. I've yet to see a single F Type parked anywhere other than a dealership.

I pass up on most parking spaces for that exact reason. Wide parking spaces in LA are rare and I'm usually going out of my way to find a suitable spot.

I've been on the lookout for you... I'm sure we'll cross paths eventually.

BTW - Went on a canyon run up in Malibu on Monday and took the car down Tuna Canyon for the first time. WOW! Car did great, kept right up with my buddy in his CLK63 Black Series on R compound tires. All us So Cal people need to meet up soon for a big run.

Definitely! The group I run with will probably do a drive sometime in June. There are 2 other F-types already in that group. If not with them we can setup a Jaguar drive.

Going down Tuna for the first time is an event.

I have yet to see another F-Type where I live, except on the SF Bay area drives in December and March. I was in Newport Beach earlier this month for a week and saw 9 F-Types in a 2 mile radius with one being exactly the same as mine. Still a relatively small number of F-Types in comparison to almost everything else.

Just goes to show you, way too many F-types being sold out there.

I just had a run down to Jax over the holiday weekend. I saw two F-Types (1 coupe, 1 convertible). BOTH were on car carriers - one in southern GA, headed north, one in SC, headed south. The first one also had an e-Type on board (sans hood). I've never seen one in town, so I get all the attention. About 2/3's of the times I'm out & about, someone makes an affirmative comment.

I saw the first F-type "in the wild" going north in Key Largo, FL two days ago. It was a grey coupe.

And then I saw a white coupe parked just south of MM100 in Key Largo today.

Did not get a chance to see if they were V6 or V8.

Anyone of you here?

I have now witnessed 4 Coupes "in the wild" around Dallas. 2 were at high end restaurants (in the Valet out front) and 2 others were on the road driving in the opposite direction. All of them were R's. 1 IRR, 1 White, 1 Sapphire, and 1 some shade of Grey.

Including mine there are now at least 5 on the road and driven. That's far too many! I'm beginning to see as many F-Types as McLarens around here... (wait, that's really not bad is it?)

I recently saw a British Racing Green convertible V8 in McKinney. There will be a BRG v6S in Flower Mound by August at the latest. But I see very few F Types in the Dallas area.

That fill up pic is great, did you two say hi? Only downside of parking next to another is that I still have yet to see the owners.

I did pass an F-type on the side of the road while on a group drive through the canyons once and then he quickly jumped in and joined us. Another IRR too.

With the State of Maine likely holding the distinction of the fewest F-Type's on the road (not that that bothers me). I did most recently, after close to 8 months of ownership, see my first F-Type; an 'R" parked in front of one of the nicest hotels in town.

Other than that, nada.
