Help with finding part number
I'm sure there are one or two other threads or posts about this around here, and the bottom line is that is not a separate part and if you want OEM you have to buy the entire cover. Otherwise just use any old suitable cord cut to the right length, tie a small loop in one end, and figure out how to attach the other end to the cover (which of course is the hard part!).
Thanks for the reply. Not impressed with the quality of the trunk parts! The long rubber attachment keeps on falling off and now this.

Usually the rubber bit only falls off if you put something bulky in the trunk that hits against the cover when you close the hatch, at least that is what I have found.
So either take the cover out of the car before you load anything big and bulky, or figure out a way to stick the rubber bit on a bit harder. Maybe take the rubber bit off and apply a small bead of silicone sealant down the middle of the inside of the rubber bit then let it sit for a few hours before refitting?
