Default Need help finding part number for wheel studs

Hi all,

I need help finding the part number for the wheel stud and where the best place to source it is. I'm pretty sure all Fs are the same but mine is a 16 R with CC brakes, which I need to replace the stud on.

I'd really appreciate any sort of help with this.

It doesn't look like Jag offers the studs separately. You have to buy the whole hub.

****! I was really hoping this was not the case... Are you certain about that? Like you usually are?
Cambo, can you please confirm?
If indeed the studs are not available separately, how can I find the correct partnumber for the hubs and where would be the best place to source a new one at the best price?

Thanks in advance gentlemen

There are no studs shown in the EPC, but as the rears are shared amongst some other models (X351, X250, last XK) then that may help you to find some aftermarket replacements.

The front hubs are supplied complete with bearings for £200 retail (£160 at a dealer after discounting) and the rears cost half that but they come without the bearings which are another £60.

For the part numbers -

C2Z2200 - rear hub, less bearing, all models except the 575PS (P7 and SVR)
Bearings for above are C2P12624 pre K10050, and T2R13835 after
C2Z3214 is the retaining clip if needed

T2R17023 - front hub, pre-assembled with bearing, AWD models
C2P24802 - as above for RWD models

[ eidt ]
I meant to add - a main dealer or authorised parts dealer would give you as good a price as anywhere else. They are common parts with large mark-ups so plenty of room for negotiating at least 20% discounts here in the UK (YMMV).

I'm sure I've read on some forum somewhere that the studs are identical to those fitted on some mundane Ford and/or Volvo offerings which are cheap and readily available, but I've searched all the forums I know and I can't find it! I also seem to recall that removing the broken stud can be a bit of a PITA without removing the hub.
I don't know if it helps or not, but I snapped one of the studs on one of my 15 mm spacers, and the same day I went to an auto parts shop and bought a replacement which fitted perfectly. It was bit of a task to hammer the new stud in as it was an extremely tight fit. Obviously the thread part of the stud on the spacer is identical to the thread on the hub, but I don't know if the "back" is the same or not.
Maybe you can remove the broken stud and take it into an auto parts shop or nut and bolt supply shop looking for an exact match, that's what I did with the broken spacer stud.

OzXFR did it the right way. Go to a NAPA store with hub in hand and they'll find the right studs for you.

That is not a bad option, but I need to complete the repair within a reasonable amount of time as I'll be doing it at shop that belongs to a friend of mine, so I can't leave my car on his lift while I go part hunting. I need to have the parts I need to complete the task before I start taking stuff off.

Are there any reputable parts sellers that forum members usually deal with?
You guys know of roverjaguarparts.com or Jaguar land rover reno parts?

I think the rear hub can be had for about $131 from reno jag, and you can send it back to them afterwards for a refund minus a 20% restock fee.

I'm in need of one for the front right, which they list for 290ish I believe. You mean I can send the old one back as a core?
Also have you any experience with them?

Thanks

I was suggesting that you use any hub as an example to take to Napa so they can get you the right hubs. You can then press the studs to be replaced out of the old hub and get the new ones pressed in. Then return the new hub for a full refund less restocking fees. Yes, I have bought plenty of times from https://www.jaguarlandroverrenoparts.com/. They used to be Gaudin Jag Parts, then Las Vegas Jaguar Land Rover Parts, and now also Reno Jaguar Land Rover Parts. Always a good experience, the prices are very competitive, but shipping cost is sometimes a bit high, especially if its a low cost part.

Mpowerr, did you ever get a replacement hub or stud(s)?
Coz when trawling through AliExpress I found these, and they look to be the kosher article:

Yes I ended up ordering a new hub which I'll be installing soon. The ones you posted above look like they will work, although I doubt they are actual jag ones. I think I'll order a couple from them and fix the old hub and keep it as a spare or sell it.

Because it did not fail, the stud was stripped by an idiot with an impact gun at a tire shop. I highly doubt warranty would cover that.

This was my Saturday morning, I now have a spare front hub for AWD cars. I think I'll order a couple of the ones OzXFR posted, change the stripped one and keep as spare or maybe sell if anyone is in need of one.

Any update to finding OEM studs? I am entertaining the idea of trimming part of the studs for clearance but will not do it if it means that either a hub will need to be replaced or if its a huge PITA of a job to replace all of the studs.

Why would you need new studs to trim the old ones?

For when I am returning the car back to stock. But I decided last night that I do not want to trim the studs and I am just going to go another route.

Ok. In any event, the studs can't be ordered from Jag separately from the hubs. NAPA, however, could have hooked you up if you took one of your OEM studs to them.
