Default Help with Squeaking Exhaust Valves

I am having issues with my exhaust valves squeaking. I have seen a few threads on this issue but I'm not sure if a dependable solution has been found. I know Jaguar likes to just swap out the back box but that's not an option. Although already extremely expensive (and wasteful) on most models, that is a $16,000 job on the titanium SVR exhaust system.

The left valve seemed slightly stuck when actuating it manually so I sprayed some high temp anti seize on the inside and the outside actuator. The squeak has changed in tone since then but is still a very faint high-pitched squeak. Any advice on fixing this completely or making sure the valve isn't being worn over time?

You could search the forum, but I remember something about copper grease being used to address the issue by some. I’m aware of the issue and was planning on looking into proactively doing this on my 2024 here and there to avoid the problem if I can.

I can't tell if it's the actuator or the flap inside the exhaust that is squeaking. I've also seen in my research that copper anti seize can cause corrosion ons rainless steel so I'm not sure that is a good idea either.

Yes that's what I used...high temp anti seize is generally copper, sometimes nickel. I didn't notice a change though and still hear a squeak. I also saw in my research that copper grease on stainless steel can cause corrosion so now I'm concerned about that a bit.

Don’t know about the reaction with stainless steel. But there’s one guy in that post I sent that sounds pretty conclusive to me. He says it solved his problem. He had to take the exhaust off to solve it. Bit of a pain, but less so financially if it works out.

He also said it was a copper grease spray..So it must be reasonably fluid, whatever he was using.

Try a couple more squirts (a few days between each) before you give up on simple lubrication.

As stated, that lubrication doesn't magically coat everything on the first attempt.

Don't worry about corrosion from the lubrication causing an issue. As Albert Einstein said “In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.”
You may just want to make a note to yourself to lubricate the valves every oil change if it helps you sleep at night.
