I was bored at lunch today, and so I came across this YT video about how this fellow who fixed a stuck exhaust valve... This got me thinking if a slight lube job on the exhaust valves could be a good thing while under the car doing other things?
If so I would think it critical to wipe off any extra lube to avoid any extra dirt build up.
Is anybody lubing their exhaust valves as part of a service routine?

 

I have never had a problem, but salt is not part of any aspect of my car's life. That may make a difference.

 

That's good to know Lizzardo! We hear of so many problems here, it's always nice to hear when things are in fact working well!

 

The only issue I ever had with the active exhaust was when the vacuum line got nibbled on by rodentia in the engine compartment and the valve stayed open all the time.
