First real long video I've seen of the quicksilver exhaust. Sounds meaner. Looks like they have a V6 version as well which I might just have to put on mine!

Does it still retain the variable exhaust?

No. It has no valves and is painfully loud all the time.

I wonder whether the SVR titanium exhaust still incorporates the valves. That would be the ultimate solution for an F-Type low weight exhaust.

Press & brochure shots show the button is present on the SVR.

what's the cost on the exhaust? no valves are not a deal breaker for me ... i've never driven with them closed yet.

+1. Then add some lighter weight wheels like Dougrobling. (40 lbs lighter than the 20"Gyrodines) That's almost a 65 lb reduction right there.

agreed. I have the active exhaust but I've never had a reason to not drive with it on. The car sounds pretty meek with it off.

+2. I don't understand why they have the time limit that automatically turns it off the next time you start the car. Just make it a toggle switch.

as long as it has the valves you can go much lighter with a straight exhaust. No question.

Just be sure you can actually live with an exhaust that is that loud all the time. It can get quite annoying if you can't even talk to your passenger without shouting(!), not to mention if there's any resonance you can get all kinds of buzzing in the cabin from anything that can and will vibrate.
