The aluminum hard top looks even sexier than pano. Classic coupe.

Talk about a car destined to be a classic.

I have the non-pano roof. It was an option on my year model (2015) and I didn't want it because:

(a) I liked the lines better without the pano...just a personal choice but I felt that it conveyed the core Aston-like / Ian Callum lines of the coupe form better.

(b) Out of purism I liked the idea of the hard top drawing the eye into the windshield view for a sports car.

Personally I don't think it works well with polaris white because it creates the weird "panda bear" effect where the windows look like spots and the roofline is broken up by the disruptive coloration.

Quite honestly, on the very dark colors, I don't see much difference. In fact, on the photo above, if you said it had a pano roof, I would think nothing of it. I agree, on the light and bright colors, it does detract from the appearance.

It really depends on how much you care. I had the opportunity to see the exact same paint with and without the pano and the difference was pretty obvious to me....the car is 52" high so most adults will be looking at some view of the roof while admiring the car :-)

Looks like another win for my base Coupe. Salsa Red, aluminium roof (Morzine Grey headliner...)

Agree, my 2015 Italian racing red looks much better with the solid colour.. I would not have bought the car if the pano roof was the only choice.

As it is, the cockpit has lots of light entering.
Lawrence.

While I too prefer the look of the aluminum roof, I must admit I prefer the panoramic roof while inside the car.

If I hadn't found my car sitting on the lot in the right color with 95% of the options I wanted, I probably would have ordered one with the pano roof.

Edit - found a side-by-side pic. Funny, the panoramic roof tends to blend in and the aluminum certainly sticks out by comparison. Admittedly not the best angle...

I'm of a different mind on Alu roof. I think it looks good on light colors like red and white, contrasting the dark windows but on darks like gray, black etc, I would definitely go pano because the contrast is so slight it doesn't outweigh the benefits of pano.
