being an XF owner and Discovery 1 owner I'm thinking or was, of changing the Disco for a X-Type 2.5 or 3.0 V6 AWD!

What I seem to find is so for no classic insurer will even quote?
Yet an Audi TT 225 is less to insure on classic than the Disco????

Can any point me in the direction of an insurance Co that will take X-Type as a classic?

Having the XF fully comp means I can't use the no claim on that on another and the Wife has a co car...

Also had a 2002 Merc CL55 AMG on classic but a 2001 X-Type...computer says no...

Had a disco before the X... Getting rid of that and finding the X was a dream come true, when you fall in love with the X insurance cost loses importance.
Besides... The $ you will save not buying parts for the disco will add up in no time!

 

I love my Disco's on my 3rd, but not using the XFS as much means using the Disco more and more....just need something a bit more Modern...
Can't justify paying the same for insurance or more, than the cars price...
Disco Ł217 full comp limited miles to 3000....if I can get an X insured around the same I'll have one....or be looking at Audi Quattro or another 4x4 Petrol...
Just dont get insurance co. having one rule for one make/car and another for others?

Its over 3 months old this post....and own an X Type now on a MOdern Classic Policy....Love it! Use it most days but not many miles...
