JESUS H. CHRIST (no offense) - or if you prefer, HOLY MOSES - NO!!!!!! Talk about destroying the stunning lines of the hood...

I think it also depends on what color Jag you're getting (I don't think the decal looks all that bad and would be more conducive on lighter colors).
Just no leaper.

For me that would be a no. The lines of this car and my IRR colour are so beautiful I this this reacts from both. I am also not a de badger, but I also, like to leave people who don't know it wondering a bit, this king of shouts it at them.Originally Posted by qictrk

If you are gutting the interior and prepping the car for the track, that decal would go just fine with the car number and all the rest of the sponsor decals.
For the street, it's a bit (or even a lot) "in your face" to display on this elegant beast.

I have been enlightened. The decal is a no go for me. I have been convinced that the car doesn't need it. Thanks to all. You saved me money too. Cecil............

Why would owners of convertibles want to put a sticker on the roof?Originally Posted by qictrk

I actually saw a white roadster with one on the street. At first I didn't like it at all but after a little while I could see some people might like it. Not for me, but I'm thinking about "chrome" hood vents on Stratus Grey.

IMO, the chrome bits add some elegance to the metallic colors. The black pack gives the brighter and non-metallic colors a sporty flavor. The decals just aren't right for the car.Originally Posted by bjg625

Having Stratus Grey I can concur that the chrome "bits" does indeed add a nice touch of class (elegance) and while I'm not so sure about having chrome hood vents...it might work. Me? I think I will leave well enough alone and think the F-Type is pretty much perfect the way it is. (From a design point).Originally Posted by lhoboy

I'm still liking the idea of body colour bonnet vents. The v6 coupe has these mesh affairs which are okay, but the shape of the ones on the convertible look better.
But then, I used to have stripes on an R53 JCW...
