Do you take your F-Type to the track? No, probably won't..not sure. The racetrack is only 20 minutes away and thought about it in my previous car for Friday Night Drags.
Do you drive it to your work? Every single day, 60 miles round trip
--possibly FOR or DURING your work? Not for work, just to work
Do you take it to the store? (Or a movie, where you park it in the parking lot?) Most certainly and I also park further out. Feel like a douche sometimes but whatever.
Do you take it to go out to dinner? I have before but usually not if I plan to have a cocktail with dinner....which is usually always!
Do you hand the key to a valet? Not yet
Is yours purely for pleasure drives? Aren't they all?
And where do you stretch its legs and make it breathe heavily? So far only on the expressway. I work late afternoons shifts so I drive home about 11pm. I get my fair share of punks wanting to race. After a ton of harassment from a Shelby with the punisher skulls on his doors, we went for it. I was scared to death though, very nervous and probably won't do that again. When he was well behind me and I let off, my speed was 126. Seemed like it lasted so long.
I really love this car and while I have another option for a daily driver, I figure I spend the $$ on this, may as well drive it as much as possible.
This was something I had to take the car in for, about 7 or 8 times? The 8th time they had it for 3 months. Too rich fuel mixture, fuel spillover into the cat. The car would shake violently (until turned off and on) with rapid flashing check engine light. The check engine would turn on constantly. Codes tripped were many, but a few of the main ones:
P0300 - General misfire
P0301 cylinder #1 misfire
P1315 pre-aesthetic misfire
P2097 cat fuel trim too rich bank #1
All this since k433 02 sensor recall update.
I started the buyback when I still didn't have my car back. But since then I've gotten it back, been told to drive it (all seems fixed, aside from the long term effects of the issues), and they're building me a new one identical to my first.... I was musing in another thread the trade out is basically 40K+ free mileage, a more up to date infotainment, likely safer (incremenetal YoY changes), and the new headlamps, and gill changes on the front end. Feels fair. =)

Nice. Jag is working hard to establish their reputation as a quality build, it seems.

Do you drive it to your work? When the wind isn't blowing the sand.

Do you take it to go out to dinner? Only if I go alone, Wife won't ride in the car.
Do you hand the key to a valet? Never trust a valet, so that would be a no.
Is yours purely for pleasure drives? Got to be.
And where do you stretch its legs and make it breathe heavily? What they call the I10 Autobahn.
Love the car, Looking to go to more car shows and cars and coffee here in southern Ca. Some should be coming up now the season is here.

Good thread! Based on everyone's answers, I should probably drive my F type more.
Love the car, but mine is basically just an occasional weekend toy, I've only put about 3000 miles on it in past 18 months since I bought it (used). Car seems just too flashy to take to all the disadvantaged neighborhoods I typically have to go to. But my theory is I appreciate the miles I do drive it more!
Guess it helps when my daily drivers are also supercharged v-8's, they are fast, just more of "sleeper" cars that don't draw as much attention...
Ya, go figure, stubborn old broad. if I could get her in it I know she would love it. I had a 370Z for 3 years and she only rode in it 1 time.
When I tell her I am going up the PCH to Pebble Beach with or with-out her she MAY change her mind. She knew I was a gear head before we got married.
About the only time I don't drive my F type is if I have chosen to go on a walk in the countryside or beach, and even then I usually drive to and from the walk start

Factually, they are doing a good job positioning themselves as a service-oriented luxury brand more interested in hospitality than being sticklers for the fine print. Mistakes happen, lemons happen, it's all how it is dealt with. This process has been superb, and I am probably even more loyal now than I would have been, had there been no problem.
Do you take your F-Type to the track? I've done so once, for a Performance Driving class at Sonoma Raceway (née Sears Point/Infineon).
Do you drive it to your work? N/A, we bought this just after I retired.
--possibly FOR or DURING your work? It would have made the commute more fun, but where I had to park it (Oakland) there's no way I would have taken it.
Do you take it to the store? (Or a movie, where you park it in the parking lot?) Often, but only where I know I can give the cat some space. Careless door dings raise my blood pressure.
Do you take it to go out to dinner? Yes, my spouse insists on it! And much as I'd like to see her drive it now and then, she much prefers to be a passenger.
Do you hand the key to a valet? I haven't yet, but if my self-parking options ever look sketchier than the valet I'll consider it. It's all about relative risk.
Is yours purely for pleasure drives? Nope, and as others have noted it makes even errands more fun.
And where do you stretch its legs and make it breathe heavily? Occasional onramps, quiet highways... Honestly, I'm usually breathing hard (with excitement) before the car is!
