Default How long are OEM 20" Pirellis lasting?

Mine are two years old, with just over 10k miles.

The rears are more than 2/3rds worn, and showing signs of perishing...

Apparently, not very long for me--at least the rears!
4392 miles on the clock:
LF 9/32
RF 8/32
LR 7/32
RR 6/32

Make sure you aren't measuring to the shoulder in the groove, which I've been told is the wear strip. The dealer clearly measured to the wear strip, as I measured more tread.

20" and at 16k and about time to change the rears. Fronts have about a few more Ks.

PSS on order with 305's for the rears.

I have almost 1k on them and ready for some PSSs, they are like rocks. They wander a bit in the wet and are an on and off switch as far as grip. I'm going on a road trip soon and will either change them after or on the way back to see the difference..

I was down to cords at 10K miles...

But I had two track days on them... The car was downright scary until I threw some PSS on them ... It is still a little scary

Just spotted a review / ad for the new Michelin 4S for sale in Europe in Jan '17 and in NA in June. Apparently avail in 19" and 20" .....the stats shown compared them to the usual suspects.....and beat the Pirelli PZero Nero by big margins.
So...can we expect sales on the PSS....or just more expensive 4S ?
Time will tell.

Costco worked well for me. They have the right equipment and the guys in the shop appreciate and take good care of nice cars. (Here, they're just down the road from MB, Porsche, Jag, Lambo)

Front P255/35R20 (2) $579.98
Back P295/30R20 (2) $679.50
TPMS (4) $11.96
Tax: $95.36
Total: $1,366.80

Rebate: $- 70.00
Total: $1,364.26 (w/rebate netted)

Agreed about Costcoand great customer service.

Unfortunately my local Costco tire rep said they were unable to order the rears and there is no waiting list they they know of. I am ordering from TireRack and having it delivered to Costco for installation.

So for the second time I got caught in Florida down pour and is it just me or do these tires hydroplane like crazy. I wasn't even driving the car the DSC was as the car just floated across the lane but I could lazily steer it and the ABS kicked in hard anytime you touched the brakes. This is at 20 MPH not highway speeds.

Similar experience for me except on the highway, slightly wet, a car came over to my lane suddenly, had to swerve a tiny bit, the F lost control slightly and I fishtailed a bit. No impact but it was quite scary.

yes it does, light rear, big tire, big power ... now you have to have standing water for that, not just wet, as I have done many highway runs in a down pour without an issue ...
