How to and why you should connect aftermarket subwoofers to the midbass lines
Huge shout out to my neighbor Jon, who, without this could not have been possible. He’s an award-winning installation judge and helped me more than you can imagine with this stuff.
This is a tutorial and explanation on how to and why you should connect aftermarket subwoofers in this car to the mid bass speaker lines and not the subwoofer lines behind the seats.
There is a huge difference in quality, We personally tested this, and there is no comparison. You are losing a huge range of frequency if you only connect into the subwoofer line from behind the seats.
Not only that, you can get low signal quality from the subwoofer lines and distortion and dangerous popping if you don’t do this right.
This is for the 2018 Jaguar F type convertible with the Meridian 770 Watt, 12 speaker sound system.
