Smile I pulled the trigger this weekend, ordered car ....
Hi guys,
I went to the dealer and placed my order for a 2017 R Type coupe. The car will be storm grey, gyrodyne black & diamond rims, illuminated door sills, black leather seats with red stitching and red seat belts. Car should arrive end of June . I'm excited!

Default Sound of echaust inspection...
When the car arrives to the dealer, the first thing I'll do is listen to the exhaust to hear it and determine if its been toned down. If it it is, I will seriously freak out! The loudness of the exhaust is a key feature for me to get this vehicle.

Curious, why would you believe it might be toned down? I could do without the loud snaps, but I love the rest of the choir.

Ubad2, I think you can rest easy. So far no one has reported the issue on any car other than 2014s and even then it seems to be a minority. My 2016 is certainly not quiet.

Your dealer was able to order 2017 ? Good to know, my dealer in Canada hasn't been able to order 2017 SVR for me, hopefully then he can soon. Are you in the US?

I suspect that the SVR will be such a limited production that not all dealers will be able to order one, just those that are big enough to warrant the allocation.

I have no idea about the SVR. maybe if I wanted one, they would have said the same, but I didn't discuss SVR so I don't know my friend.

No thanks for the info, at the time they couldn't order any 2017 Ftypes, so the fact that you could order yours is at least a step in the right direction for me hopefully. Congrats on your order

Great combo. You are going to love the color and the car... it will be plenty loud.

Congratulations! It was the longest 133 days of my life waiting for mine to come in. Redid the garage and found time to visit the factory for the tour in Castle Bromwich while I was waiting.
