I saw an F-Type coupe this morning, a white one!!

So you're thinking, what's the big deal? Well, to me it is, I saw a red convertible a few months ago and now this one.

That's it!!

Pity I wasn't driving ours, two at the same intersection would have been too much of a coincidence.

Other than our PA get together I've not seen another "in the wild" until today. About an hour ago saw this white R coupe in McLean VA on Rt 123. Of course I'm not driving my vert today..my bad.

 

If you're in South Orange County especially around Irvine, you should see few as JLR's regional office for the west coast is in Irvine and since I work for them, you might see me putting around in a IRR coupe, BRG coupe or my personal one, a Polaris White coupe with black 20" gyrodyne wheels.

 

I work in Irvine also and there are a couple F's at my office.

 

Not to stray here, but you Cali folks seem to have a couple of just about everything down there. Nice.

 

I've seen one other F. A black conv base model. The driver just sneered at me when I waved at her. Made me sad.

 

All fur coat and no knickers springs to mind.

 

That's just rude. Just because she has the good taste to drive an F-Type doesn't necessarily mean she has class.

 

I've only ever seen one in the wild and that was the day after I got mine. Quite a rare beast.

I had just been to an early Dental appointment in Tustin, I was going south on Jamboree just before the Tustin Market Place going towards Newport Beach.

Really? Small world, I used to have quite a few close friends who worked at the PAG building before it became Taco Bell. They are still good friends but they all went back to the UK when it closed, so I only see them when I go back to the UK.

 

She was probably married and thought you were flirting, most women aren't car guys.

 

I suppose it's possible. Though I am clearly about 15 years younger than she was and had the GF with me.

A dentist at my office building has a 2015 S coupe but that's the only F I've seen outside of Portland. Rare indeed.
