Default Infotainment/ touch screen turns off

Hi All.
my18 f type v6.

every do often, but most drives, my touch screen and infotainment control turns off completely.
it still works as in radio still plays etc but there is nothing on the screen.
it turns off after the car restarts ftom
an auto shut off (like at traffic lights).
it seems that the longer the shut down at lights the more likely the system turns off.
does anyone else get this?
is there a work around?
I’ve played around a bit but can’t work out what the trigger to this is.
annoying part is my car is daily drive and I really need phone access to be able to get work calls while driving.

As has been mentioned many times here most electrical problems on an F-Type are caused by a dodgy/flattish battery.
So the first thing to try is a battery system reset - disconnect the battery earth lead (runs from the negative terminal) from where it bolts to the floor of the boot, leave it off for 20 or 30 seconds, then reconnect it. Then, if you have one, connect up your battery tender/maintainer and leave it on overnight.
If that doesn't work my guess is a module is on the blink.

Check your settings. In my 2021 the infotainment screen reverts to a "screen saver" mode which is dark except for having a leaper logo after 15 minutes of no activity, i.e. being touched. A touch anywhere on the screen turns it back on, and I also have the display configured where there is a power icon and I can touch that at any time if I want to turn the screen off. I live in a rural area with no streetlights and on the State highway on a moonless night it is as dark as a tomb. It's easier on my eyes when driving at night not to have a bright cockpit.

You might have the settings configured to turn off the display if there is no activity.

ive used that setting. I like the logo (1min for me) but not the issue. I’ve turned it on and off.
