Default Interesting Read.

Interesting read about the perception of the reliability of JLR products. I can guarantee its more than 100,000. Can't wait for all those electric Jags!

I don't really get this - I've had 4 Jags and none of them has been unreliable. On my 2010 XKR the only failure I had was a leaking water pump, and that's a Ford part!

I have no doubt some Jaguar owners experience reliability problems and wouldn't like to speculate on how representative JD power survey is .

My experience has been positive: out of two Jaguar I have owned the first, a 6.0 XJS let me down on two occasions in three years and fifty thousand miles if daily driving, once when a 23 year old fuel pump relay failed and another occasion when poor engine earthing due to corrosion caused a failure to re start.

My F type had one fault, sat nav antenna failure, replaced under warranty, it's my current daily driver , has covered 63,000 miles since manufactured in March 2015, it hasn't had warranty coverage for the last three years of its six year life and I don't have the slightest concern about jumping in and driving hundreds of miles without special preparation and it getting to and from my destination with a large grin for most of the journey
