Default Remote Start (InControl) with Apple Watch

I did a very quick search and didn't see anything (apologize if this has been mentioned already), but I just found the Jaguar InControl app on my Apple Watch so I'm able to start my car, lock it, etc with my watch. Between that and the Wifi enable garage doors which is control by my Apple Home app... I can control it all with my phone or watch. Open the garage door and warm up the car all while I'm finishing my morning cup of coffee.

An over the top, luxury feature but it puts the biggest smile on my face every time I use it.

That is super cool. If mine had that I would probably use it all the time for the same reason, just because it made me chortle with glee.

Same, but I use Alexa for this. Not on my F Type as it is too old, but on the F Pace.

@JacksonvilleJag if you have any issues with the Alexa skill, do let me know as I am the author of it. Also, for Google/Android users, I literally just shipped two new Google Assistant skills!

Chris, will do, thanks. I was an early adopter when I saw your post on here. The wife loves it and recently showed her your shortcuts and scheduled skills. Thanks again.

I'm jealous. As far as I know the MT can't be remote started. Something I miss from my old car which I retrofitted.

Sometimes it's a little spotty in terms of connecting to my car.... I think if it's in the garage or some type of structure and it's cloudy, the remote start doesn't work sometimes which is annoying but still a very cool feature.

But I will say there are times when I wished I got the MT... trade for a week?

No, none of us have access to remote start either using In-Control or Chris’ Alexa skill. I don’t understand this, as the MT already has a neutral sensor that can detect that the car is not in gear.
