Default Internal Sound Enhancement

While glancing over the order details for my F-type I came upon the option in the subject line. Does anyone know if this is the symposer that I read about in another thread? I searched the old interweb and could not find it by name or option code: G27Z

Never heard of this. Has Jag ever talked about feeding engine sounds through the speakers, like some brands do, anyone? I don't recall.

The symposer system claims to "enhance" sound by pumping conditioned intake manifold noise into the cabin by purely mechanical means. I don't know if it's optional, but I hate it, and have not been happier with the car's sound since I disabled it. If I could have opted to NOT have it I'd have chosen that.

The symposer has always been a standard part of both the AJ126 and AJ133 SC engines and it has never been an option, fujicoupe must be talking about something else.
Unless of course JLR have recently changed things on late models and turned it into an option.
