iPhone 6 software updates?

Default iPhone 6 software updates?
I just brought my car for first service and have had issues with my iPhone 6 plus connectiong for music the service manager said that Jag issued a niotice that they were working on a software update for the compatibility. Anyone know if it has been released? Is it successful?

My iPhone 6 plus works fine with my 2015 F-Type R, so perhaps it has been addressed.

Maserati, which uses Chrysler's great MTC is having same problem. Still working on it.
