Yea I'm still undecided on the fob. Thinking about taking the wrap off. it doesn't show the "Jaguar" logo on the key as well since its only slightly indented.

Not bad, the only 2 things I'd change was to make the rear diffuser all black (no blue at all) and leave the poor keyfob alone

I got a few things done along with the wrap, in addition to the blue you see wrapped there, all the black pieces are covered in paint protection film, headlights and tail lights tinted, they painted the rear emblems, windows tinted. All in with tax was close to $6k

Looks great. Super color choice!

suggestions:
- gotta black out the wheels to match the black-pack everywhere else (i've got those same wheels on stratus grey)
- have to get a sto-n-sho to remove/drop that front plate
- not a fan of the fob, but was kinda clever for them to do that

it's going to look mean lowered

Looks fantastic. Almost there.

Lowered, spacers or bigger offset wheels, black wheels and black ceramic coat on the exhaust tips. In fact, with that awesome color I'd get rid of anything not blue or black....

Just curious. What happens when a bird drops a load on the wrap? Does the acidity in the dump eat a hole through or permanently discolor the wrap?

I've read that bird crap is not all that acidic, and what causes the paint damage is the crap getting hot in the sun then the underlying paint expands and contracts at different rates to the surrounding paint which damages the clear coat.
Maybe the same thing would happen on wrap, maybe not, I dunno!

I might have missed it, but unless you own Coventry North, work there, or some other affiliation with them, ditch their dealer tacky plate frames for thin black plate frames.

Agree with other poster - ShowNSto.

New wheels -- solid gloss black, black lugs; definitely. Personally I'd have the Gyrodynes powdercoated gloss black even for winter tires, for <$500 might as well have them looking sharp.
Again, agree with another poster - everything on the exterior black or blue.

(Funny - I tried my hand at Plasti-Dip on my leaper - fail - came right off a week later. Only thing I have on my car that isn't red or black)

Other than minor personal-taste nitpicking - a stunner.

Bird poop has no impact on wrap. The real damage that can be done to the wrap (and more so to paint) is the removal process. The droppings contain extremely abrasive materials (sand, nutshells, seed husks) and will scratch the surface badly if you try to rub away the poop before letting it thoroughly soak with some kind of liquid (water or trusted cleaner). Rinse away...don't rub away.

About your leaper.
I took mine off and spray painted it with gloss black caliper paint in a can (3 coats), and it came out looking waaaay better than I ever thought it would.
I also cut the mounting prongs off it and stuck it back on about 4 mm lower than stock (after having removed the JAGUAR letters a couple of months earlier) so that it was much more central on the spoiler. Still not quite perfectly central, just a tad high, but you can't go any lower than that and still cover the mounting holes in the spoiler.

OK. For those few of us who don/t get this "wrap" thing...

Why does one wrap the car?

Thanks

I always thought it was because it was a cheap way to change the color of your car. Now that i'm learning it costs 5-7k, I have no idea. A high quality paint job would cost similar.

Those who argue paint protection, I just don't buy it. A clear bra is 3-4 times as thick as a wrap, so it's really not the same thing.
