Default Jaguar 2015 F Type side mirrors stuck

My side mirrors stuck in and won't fold out. Usually happens automatically when door locked and unlocked...not anymore. Any fix suggestions?

As with anything else, try rebooting the computer(s) by disconnecting the battery for 15 seconds. This vehicle is more computer than car.

went to dealer...very quick fix
On driver door
The two mirror switches between the mini joystick, one button for right mirror, one button for left mirror
Just push both left and right button at the same time and it moves mirror in and out

Your manual describes this feature, under 'Mirrors.' If the buttons were used to retract the mirrors, then they won't deploy automatically.

I hate those "oh but if you did" functions that you may not have realized you (or someone else) did. Bit like when my cat wanders across my keyboard and switches my display into some weird mode I have never used.

How hard would it be to show some kind of message on the display saying "hey, auto retract is disabled because you did..."
