Went to the JDC National day this weekend. Some interesting cars there - about 400 Jags altogether. All the usual E Types, Mk 2s/5s/7s/9s/10s etc, and some one offs. Pics below show the villains XKR from "Die another Day", complete with Gatling gun, the Austin Powers XKR, one of only 250 Project 7 F Types looking really horny - and then I was invited into the show arena to talk about my F Type with the judge, all broadcast on the PA system. Short moment of glory!

 

That Ausin Powers car looks a lot like an XK8, not an R (no bonnet vents).

But an interesting collection, nevertheless!

 

Think you're right, my recollection was that it was an XKR but the picture says otherwise
