I bought my F-Type (2018 3.0L V6 Convertible) as a certified used from Jaguar recently and now notice that the driver's side DRL (J blade) only lights at the ends and doesn't present a consistent beam like the passenger side.

Is there a fix other than a full headlight replacement?

 

whatever the issue is, it will be fixed under the CPO warranty. I had an entire headlamp unit replaced because of a glue run under the lens, replaced with no questions asked under the CPO warranty. In your case there is a malfunction issue not a cosmetic issue, so it will definitely be covered.

 

Thanks. I will ask the dealership to look at it at the next service. It is a safety issue so they I expected it to be covered.

Yes. It is still under factory warranty but I wasn't sure if this issue would be covered. I'll contact the dealer.
