I know they are all pretty, but I think the dark blue is a fantastic choice in the facelift, particularly with black pack. I've seen one getting around a few times, it is an amazing looking car.

The most important thing in the article is the simple question: "How does this car make me feel?": - and this question and its answer always relate to what a Jaguar really is. No 0-100km figures, no top speed figure, no HP or torque figures ever come close to explaining what a Jaguar is and why Jaguar owners ALWAYS look back at the car when they park it, why they always smile when they get into the Jag, and why they ALWAYS regret selling a Jaguar and why other marques seldom satisfy a Jaguar owner.

Thanks for sharing, great article! I agree that the facelift looks amazing in darker colors. I think Jaguar did a great job with the latest facelift which was not an easy task considering how good looking the original design was. Does anyone know which Blue paint is this?

Brilliant article that really captures what these cars are about.

Kind of reminds me of Clarkson's good old Topgear review of the V6S from when the F-Type was released... quite different to this article but also very much spot on.

I found the looks of the F Type too tempting! Had a perfectly fine, but only passable looking, 20 month old SLK55 AMG. But couldn't help myself!

Pity it's a measly base model V6 (with the lowest level brake calipers painted yellow) but still a good vid.

Am not sure if clarkson was actually speaking of the jag though as he never mentions the car.

I can't stand that guy (Clarkson) - can't watch anything he does. But lots of people love him. Am I the only one?

I think the Clarkson eulogy was originally recorded for an Aston Martin V12.......

Yes and apparently the car had an open rear diff too? Had a one wheel peel in the gravel along side the road.

Yep, that's a nice one too. Looks like some homemade stuff by a Spanish chap with a base V6 with Clarkson audio ripped from Topgear and added on top. Most of that talk comes from a very nice Topgear test of the V12 Vantage.

I'm not surprised everyone doesn't like Clarkson. He's said and done lots of rubbish stuff but when it comes to cars I think he's brilliant and mostly spot on.

These are great cars - the number of people who come up to me and say "wow" is staggering. In a group of 991, 992, 488, and Gallardos at a recent drive, the F-type was the best looking one. The Gallardo owner agreed.

Dark blue, tan interior as above...newly updated to 20" forged wheels. Wow is right. Just the essence is spot on...E type and more. Not sure how they did it so right ....and I prefer the original headlights to be honest, so on that I disagree with the Road and Track author. HID's are fine by me.

They say happiness is wanting what you have. And this car makes me as happy as possible.
