These are public forums. When you post you invite others to reply. Whether it's Facebook, a car forum, or your local community page - if you're on social media and complain, post something political, or share drama - you open yourself up to ALL replies; not just the ones you want or like. These are for public opinion. If you're not prepared for all types of responses; good and bad - tell the story to your best friend. They'll usually support your position (or at least act like they do).

And, as pointed out in the previous post, he literally did invite others to reply, without any caveats.

I agree, you are correct. As I've stated a few times, I view you guys as very knowledgable stand up guys. I didn't take into account a few DBs could do, poke a bear with a stick routine. I should have known. It's on me.

Honestly I did not read through this entire thread so this may be answers, but the math doesn’t add up.

When was your in service date? If it’s a 2017. You posted your warranty expired 7/2021. Unless you purchased the car in July 2016 which is normally earlier than 2017 models are available, the 5 year warranty can’t possibly be expired in 7/2021. Maybe I’m wrong but the math seems off to me.

No.... you are correct. I picked up the car around end of July 2016. It came in as a 2017 model car. I had the car specked out and built my specifications. I really don't know if that had anything to do with it being a 2017 model year vehicle. I can't say either way. But you are not wrong. It is a 2017 vehicle. And I did pick it up July of 2016.

To add a bit more context, my MY18 had a build date of March 2017.

My MY 2016, built to my specs, arrived at the end of July, 2015.

There you go. It's not unusual as I possibly thought. It's normal.
