Default Intermittent check engine light

Check engine light comes on then goes away periodically. Took it in when it was on and they ordered an o2 sensor. Waiting for it to come in. Assuming they reset it cause it was off when I left dealer. Then back on. Then off again. Car runs fine otherwise. Anyone have this issue?

What DTCs are stored when the MIL comes on?

I bought the car recently and the engine light came on, too, but fixed.
After about two days, after pulling it disappeared.
Soon I bring it to have the service and let's see what the dealer say about.
How can I check the DTCs? With which cable / software?

I had that happen with my 2015 F Type S - bad O2 sensors on one side. Replaced under the extended warranty specific to that part.

My new to me 2018 F-Type threw an check engine light today. After checking with my OBD reader, I'm finding P0420 "Inefficient Catalytic Converter" seems like I will be getting one or more new O2 sensors.

Don’t forget the O2 sensors are covered under Jag’s special warranty extension, though I guess yours are still covered by the regular warranty.

I assumed it would be covered by the warranty, but what is the "special warranty extension"? This car is only on year three of the five year warranty, as I understand it.

My car has had two incidents of broken plastic plugs. The turbo plug was replaced recently. In the past it was another plastic switch,. Warranty work.

Either inferior plastic or careless oil changes maybe for me.

Get this. This week I took my 2018 F-Type R in for routine service and for the illuminated check engine light that decided to extinguish the day before my appointment, after being on for over a week. Regardless, I knew that when they connected to the OBD port they would see the error code in history, which they did. Can you guess what they decided the repair consisted of??? Clearing the code and taking it for a short test drive (I have a dash cam and watched their brief test drive afterwards). Then less than 24 hours after picking it up, the check engine light came on again and as you might guess, I wasn't happy. After a terse phone conversation, I'm taking it back in next week and expect to have a more thorough review of the issues. I've even told them I want them to inspect and/or change out the O2 sensors. We will see what happened next week.....
