Default Jaguar logo puddle lights

I just replaced my puddle lights with a pair of projected Jaguar logo and they worked out pretty well. It took about 3 minutes per side to replace the OEM unit. Below is a link to the product on amazon.

Much better, the cars should have come from factory like that. The newer cars have the simple 'Jaguar" script lights, the leaper is a nice touch.

I have the same ones. But my leaper is jumping forward, and text facing outward like the door sill plate lettering.

You should be able to rotate the lens bezel to reorient the projection...

I believe these are left right. So if you get them in one way it faces out. Switch them and they face in. I think they should face in so the person opening the door and entering sees the writing right side up and not upside down. But, obviously, owner preference here.

Or swap them to the other door, unless you wanted them that way I think you just have the wrong one in each door
... dionysus got there first!

Yes, I just looked at the OPs link. Same lights I have. One is meant to be the leftside, the other light is for the rightside. The lenses are fixed and can't be rotated.

I love these lights and had them for 18 months. They still look as good as new.

Correct they can't be rotated but you can just swap them between the doors to get the lettering to read correctly when getting out of the car, as @Dionysus stated

I have some of those but I prefer the full-color Growler. Got them off of eBay but they can be hard to find:

Amazon link looks like they are only for models up to 2018. So not for my 2023 ?

Best thing to do is pop out one of your factory lights. See if it fits the dimensions in my pics. If so, then the Amazon ones will work. Hella did a fantastic job selling these door lights to EU car mfgrs as I found the same light in my Bentley, Aston, AMG and 2 of my jags. The Amazon lights are China and sometimes they don't keep updating the years.

If you don't have a puddle light on the door bottom, some of the newer models like my F-Pace has the light in the outside mirrors so these won't work. To get this light out of the door bottom just pry at the back of the light where the spring plastic is, not the front of the light. Should come right out.

I know my puddle lights were the same in my MY18 F-Type as they were in my MY23 F-Type. I think they are the same for all years.

Installed my puddle lights years ago and not even sure they still work! I NEVER take the car out at night and almost forgot I have them.

I spent so much of my life debadging my cars, motorcycles. By the second day I owned the F-Type the only badge left was Leaper on the truck lid.... but this does look pretty darn cool. Even a little nod to the taillights there?

I had two sets of puddle lights on my 2018 and neither set lasted very long. I don't know if they've been improved recently--anyone?

Really like that Jaguar head. Very distinctive and I had not seen it before.

Does anyone know if these will fit a Jaguar f-pace? When I look up on Amazon it looks like they're for a car, not the SUV

I'm pretty sure no on the F-Pace. On our F-Pace it already has puddle lights that are projected from the outside mirrors. I don't think the F-Pace doors have the same light socket under the door panel.
