All these programs are on debt issue from the central bank which is buying treasury bonds with their own printed money. It all gets paid back to them, with interest, by the taxpayer. No such thing as a free lunch in any of these countries. Its all the same scam.

I’d support that!

This forum is where I come to get away from all the speculation and worst case scenarios regarding the economy etc..

I would argue that some of the absolutes put forward by racerx are a bit extreme as I am not a believer in “always and never” but that said, my main objection is the result of exactly what he states - all of the programs, unemployment, and stimulus will all be paid back many times over by those that are responsible for paying the most taxes. I didn’t want a vivid check, but I guarantee I will be responsible for paying several of them back over time. TINSTAFL is real and it is not a zero sum game where everything just balances. Printing money to pay yourself is counter-productive.

Design concepts - I'm really excited to see what the XJ will look like. I make no secret that I am a fan of the 2020 XE which I think improves the looks and I guess there will be cues from that (or more to the point the XE is taking cues from what the flagship will look like), I also think that a stretched and lowered iPace would be a good look, which is possibly what we will get for the XJ.

I thought that the XF went a little backward in looks for the new shape, both inside and out (the first gen is still a lovely looking car) so I am keen to see that with the same treatment as the XE received. I saw talk of a smaller compact SUV which I dont really think they would have needed if the E Pace had been aluminium to start with, also the xc40 is going to take some beating.

I am one of the few on this board who likes the new F Type though I havent seen one in the metal, and not enough to part with my dough (or more to the point to pay $20K stamp duty to the government on a changeover which would burn me more than the price difference). I always liked the sportscar body with a flat face, remember the old Jensen interceptor?

Finally I see Jag are talking about a large SUV - J Pace. Doesnt really interest me although I am not opposed to it, I just cant get excited about it like a might a good saloon or coupe.

The only thing wrong with the 2021 facelift is Jaguars own worn out phrase to describe the F-Type, "it's the spiritual successor to the E-Type." The sportscar-loving public got tired of hearing that phrase over and over. Jag's F-Type design team were the only ones not paying attention.
