Here is my post from a few days ago .....

You join the state club and pay the dues. Your state clubs forwards the national club portion of the dues to them. You then become a member of both clubs. If you do not have a club in your state you can join the national club as a member at large. All the info you will need is on the JCNA website.

The $1000 discount is a member perk negotiated between JCNA and JLR. It should not expire. You will need to be a JCNA member in good standing to receive the discount.

In my case my dealer did it for me just before we closed the transaction. Cost me about $55 if I remember right, I just had to provide the credit card number. I also joined the local chapter, and that cost more but you don't have to do that to get the discount.

How does this work for an order made out of state? Do I just join that state's club?

Dues are yearly,it cost me $90 to join the SF chapter...and they seem like a great group,I hope to catch up with some members when they're here for the Concours week @ Pebble Beach and Laguna Seca even though I won't have my car by then.

ftypel,
Just go to www.jcna.com and it'll talk you through it...it's painless.

I didn't see that coming. I really did not think we would see any type of incentive this year.
Keep in mind we MAY even see a rebate on the car...just maybe...or at least a special lease rate like what's currently on the 'vert...that's what I'm hoping for.

Dremorg,
www.jcna.com ...talk you right through it.

If you prefer you can join only the national club. Purchasing from an out of state dealer will have no effect because you will use you membership card and membership number from the national club to get the discount.

I joined my state club, but that was my choice. You can join at JCNA.com. There is contact info on the website for questions.

According to my membership card, it expires on 12-31-2014, so I'm sure the dues are annual.

Also, my dues were prorated, so you will not be paying for a full year. I paid $45.00 for state and national dues. Now I'm eligible for a $2500.00 discount. Money well spent!!

Hey peoples...how does this actually work anyway? You give your salesman your JCNA member numer & they automatically apply the discount?

Thanks all again!

I joined online using Paypal through the link from buickfunnycar.com, only $30, and then sent an e-mail to the address on my Paypal receipt to request my membership number.

Jaguar Clubs of North America - Membership Application

My dealer then provided me with this info:
If you provide me with your membership number, I will submit the request form to get your PIN number. The PIN will authorize us to claim the $2,500 discount.

After I sent him the membership number I received, he submitted the paperwork to get the PIN.

Just now waiting for a VIN since I was told delivery ETA was August but still no VIN for me to track.

You will need your JCNA Member Number and/or card. You give that info to the dealer when you are ready to close the deal. The dealer has a form for you to complete. JLR assigns you a PIN and the dealer uses that for reimbursement.

This is what I and the GM at the dealership understand from what we've been told.
