Default JCNA Private Offer / Discount Program

I have been a member of Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) for more than 6 months and am about (hopefully) to take delivery of a new MY19 F Type. The JCNA web site does not seem to have been updated and I can't find information on the JCNA discount for MY19 cars, if any. My local JCNA person did not know... does anyone know if this discount still exist for new cars? Thanks!

I’d be surprised if there is a discount on my19s yet, but here is the link I used in July to get the discount they had for my18 ($1000): https://www.jlrprivateoffer.com/

Brock fortunately I saw this. Please call 888-258 2524 (membership) so we can figure out your issue. JCNA only provides the link to JLR-we also provide a file to them for qualifying members but once you connect on the "private offer" you leave the JCNA site and are on a JLR server. In any case we handle exceptional cases when necessary. Not sure who your "local" JCNA person is but if you go to the contacts you can reach the entire leadership structure.

Thank you, George, very kind of you to reply and much appreciated. I will call tomorrow... this is timely as my car has finally arrived at the dealership and I am picking it up in the coming days.

I purchased my new MY 2018 in April and negotiated the price with the dealer, exclusive of any manufacturer incentives. Should I have received a Jaguar discount as well?

Fuji if you were a member of Jaguar Clubs of North America for half a year the discount was there for you. Good dealers ask. That said the discounts are controlled by JLR and they continue to update the portal. We used to do it by JSOBs (sales bulletins) but this method works better for all. We do help dealers at times and others are old hands at it. Currently the discounts are minimal but they change. Last year several models rec. $5k off and two members purchased SVRs with an even larger discount.

Fuji, you would have had to asked your dealer to apply for the discount with JLR before you took delivery of the car. Once title transfers, it's too late.

Un H mostly accurate but some success has been had in states with the 3 day "cooling off" period.

Most dealers are unaware of this program as so few JCNA members actually purchase new cars.

I hope that's not the practice of non-JCNA members. Otherwise, where will the supply of the future used F-Types come from? Simply recycle old ones from owner to new owner?

I negotiated my best deal with the dealer and then informed them at the end that "oh, by the way I am a JCNA member as well so I believe we can take that $3,500 off this figure". Dealer's response of PERFECT which was one of the reasons I was at that dealer some 10 hours away from my home...."Of course we can!"

JgaXkr it depends on your point of view. In the first years of the F-Type over 1000 were purchased by JCNA members. JCNA members also buy Land Rovers or Rovers and they (JLR) really do not mind that either. You seem to be in the group that believes members only have older collector cars (which they do) but they have daily cars also! At a rec. meeting of an associated activity (not club) there were no less than 10 of the 20 cars that came being Jaguars or Land Rovers a year or two old. Two cars (F and XJ) were less than a month old!

I assume that the two to three calls we get a week from dealers to help with the process should be enough proof. The fact the program was developed with the program and all associated costs to run the program should be further evidence. The comment of so few might be true if we were discussing Ford Trucks --
