Default Just joined Jaguar family!

Hey everybody, finally bought an R last night. I couldn't be happier, this car is awesome! I had two thumbs up just driving it home including one guy that was two cars ahead of me, jumped into the right lane to slow down to see what was creating this beautiful symphony. My wife and I have been talking about purchasing one for a few months, but Kief's post about his great deal got me seriously looking on Saturday. Couldn't pass up the deals right now.

Thanks to Kief for allowing me to bug him about the deal he got. Also, drop me a line if you're interested in the deals I was able to get from my dealer here in Austin. I had a great experience with the sales manager there. They have several F Types on the lot, including 5 R's. I also had a really great manager at Bluff City Jaguar in Tennessee that was honest and outstanding. He bent over backwards to work out a deal for me. I'd love to send him some business.

Glacier White / Jet with ivory stitching

Glad I could help!

You are the second former BMW guy I got into an F-Type within the last 2 weeks. But the other guy managed an SVR!!!

I should get a kickback from JLR!

I tried for an SVR and couldn't get the numbers to work. Best deals were out of state, but know tax credits. The taxes were killing the deal. In state, no dealer would come close.

I looked at leasing a new coupe from JLR Austin but with Texas adding tax for the whole cost not the lease payments I couldn't get to a number I was happy with. Ended up buying a one owner preowned 2016 from Nevada with 7K miles and a depreciation of about $25K and having it shipped (yes it came in two days just like Amazon Prime!).

They are able to provide tax credits from Chase. They only get so much per month, but all the dealers offered $5k of tax credits. My tax was only around $900.

That blue BDE was what we were originally looking at a few weeks back. I love that blue! That's really the reason I was even interested in the SVR. I like the S, but once you've tasted the R you can't go back. 😄

The white w/ carbon blades w/o black pack is one of my favorite nice looking F-Types.
The body trim brings together the blade wheel outer trim - looks great stock.

stmcknig, I can't say enough good things about the blue BDE! Love the load of options and the color never fails to get great reactions! Do it!

Thanks Burt! I don't think photos can do the combo justice. In person it's stunning.
