Hey guys,

Recently had my MY17 F-type R Awd in at jag to have a rattle fixed, boot seal replaced and winter tyres fitted and i have noticed on the invoice that additionally to this work they "carried out k405 recall"

Now i have tried searching but haven't found a reference to what this is?

Any ideas?

 

No big deal - fixes a problem where 16/17 MY cars don't report (on the dash) when they're due for a service.

 

K405 refers to a software update. Certain cars had a concern where the Service Interval Required message was not displaying correctly in the message center of the gauge cluster. K405 addresses that concern. Nothing to worry about.

I was on there recently whilst investigating another issue, and noticed that my own car is due to have K405 applied next time it sees a dealer.

 

WhiteTardis works for Jag, if I recall correctly.
