Default Lack of a back seat for extra space vs XKR?

How is it having no back seat cargo capacity for those times when the XKR's was so handy? I had no problem with very limited cargo space when I was 20, but my sports cars over more recent years have either had a decent sized trunk or a back seat suitable for weekend carry-ons, a last minute grocery stop, or an impulse purchase somewhere. I have other vehicles for planned shopping and hauling duties, but I seem to end up using the XKR's extra back seat space more frequently than I would have thought.

How are those of you with F-Types managing?

Bruce

It just takes a little more planning.
Don't go to Home Depot . It's a sports car. Use it as such. Certainly less utilitarian than an XK , BUT definitely sportier.

Thank you for clearing that up in your very first post Welcome, and don't forget to post in the New Member's Intro section. Do you drive an F-Type?

What I'm wondering is if there's enough room for a couple or few days away with the wife. That would be 2 overnight bags, shoes, jackets, suit bag, small cooler bag, snacks, camera bag, and let's say something the size of a smallish wedding gift. Or a couple of nights away to do a track event with the addition of a helmet bag and gear, but usually without a passenger. Or simply picking up groceries as part of a weekend outing with my main squeeze.

I'm not sure if that's proper use of a sports car or not, but that's how I've used them in the past.
