Question Lowered F-Types: Did you trim the bump-stops?

For those of you who have lowered their F-Types, did you trim the bump-stops?

I had a shop install AP-Velocity springs and have since noticed a bit of pogo rebound on certain sections of road. I've lowered many cars and trimmed the bump stops on about half of them (one after the fact), but not on this car. I can't even find a diagram that shows where they are located on the suspension.

If you are lowered and haven't trimmed the bump stops, does your car pogo at all?

Does anybody know where they are located? If they are mounted concentric on the struts I may need to take it to a shop to have the work done.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

I have been on VAP springs for some six years now and yes, the car "pogos" at times, mainly over dips and undulations taken at any sort of speed.
This is a well known and often reported thing, and it is due to the rebound rate of the dampers/shocks being out of sync with the springs.
I doubt if trimming the bump stops would make any difference.

Thank you!
I question if the bump-stops are causing this issue, considering the cars I had to cut the bump-stops were pogoing much more dramatically before I trimmed them.
From looking at the suspension it appears the bump-stop may be on the bottom of the dust boot mounted on the strut.

Put some chalk or water-based paint on the bump stop, go for a rip, then check whatever the bump stop is supposed to bump into for transferred chalk/paint. If it's there, you're hitting the stop.
