Mina Gallery Air Intake Cover
Hello all,
Getting the Mina Gallery lower air intake tube and intake filter installed and saw some people installing it with a water/oil/dust proof cover over it and some that don't. Was wondering if those of you who have installed it had any problems without the filter? Finding it hard to find the right size. Any real risk of running it without an air filter? From what I've seen most don't really do that and I think the front under shielding protects it from most things.

I bought my Mina intake and didn't install it for a year! During that time I decided it was better safe than sorry to install the filter sock. I live in AZ so rain isn't that often but felt even with the heavy desert dust out here it would benefit.
When you say "without the filters" I am guessing you mean "with filters but without the optional socks/covers that go over the tops of the filters". I had mine installed nearly a year ago now with no socks/covers and zero problems so far.
Admittedly very little driving in the rain and no mud or deep puddles yet.
